A shallower bite in order today as it took about two casts to get into the first fish. A 3.5 pound smallie fell victim to our offering! There was a dark sky overhead &#038; terribly humid temperatures as the storms around us showed their fury. Heavy rains poured on us three times during the day making visibility extremely difficult. Fortunately, the fish didn&rsquo;t seem to care! About 20 to 25 bass were caught today up 3.5 pounds. No real big ones, but steady action none the less. Overall, a pretty good day as we finally got off the water about 3:30 PM.
