This was the first time that Ben was going to experience smallmouth bass fishing at it\u2019s finest. Lake St-Francis was going to be the place of choice today and the weather wasn\u2019t going to cooperate very well. Another northeast wind in a western current direction had the waves blowing us all over the map. Trying to cast to specific targets in open water wasn\u2019t easy, but they prevailed! Max got top honors with the largest bass of the day going 5.5 pounds. There were plenty of others in the 4 to 4.5 range, but they really had to be worked for. By the end of the day, there were at least 25 smallmouth bass caught &#038; released!
