I fished with Mike today on Memphremagog and approximately 25 bass were caught up to 3.5 pounds. The weather wasn\u2019t any better today either. The morning air was a balmy 43 degrees and didn\u2019t get much warmer through the day. It was a steady drizzle and the wind was from the E\/NE at 10 to 15 MPH all day long. The warmest water was definitely offshore. We found 53 degrees on the open water shoals and 51 degrees in the shallows. Even the fish were not very cooperative as we got into most of them over 20 to 30 feet of water. Once again, fin-s jigs and jerk-baits accounted for all the smallmouth bass. The day was called a little earlier when I took a rotating excalibur hook in the thumb from one of the jerk-baits.
