I fished with Bobby & Francois today on a local lake nearby. The weather was a mix of sun & clouds and the temperatures went up into the mid 70\u2019s by the end of the day. Winds were from the S\/SW at about 5 MPH and the water temps went to 60 degrees in some areas of the lake. We missed several lake trout and managed to land about a dozen smallmouth ranging from 3.5 to over 5 pounds. The largest went five & a half even! Most of the fish are so near the spawn that they refused to take most offerings. Overall, we must have seen more than a hundred bass just cruising the drop offs. All things considered, a great day for viewing, but a little slow on catching!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
