Frank & John accompanied me today on Magog out of Georgeville for a day of trolling flies for trout & salmon. All I can say is \u201cwhat a miserable day\u201d. It rained pretty much all day with heavy rain in the morning quite frequently. To make matters worse the only thing eating the flies today were perch & an occasional bass. The water temps were great at 53 degrees in most areas & the air temps were slightly higher. The only good thing was the winds were light, but from the N. By noon, we had to head in & get a change of clothes for Frank because he was soaked to the bone. Luckily for him, I had everything he needed to stay warm & dry for the second half of the day. We decided to try deeper water & began casting both jigs & jerkbaits with only a few followers to show for our efforts. No trout today, but the weather is suppose to change for tomorrow.
