A slight change of plans today as the winds were going to blow big from the SE. Gaetan & Michel didn\u2019t hesitate when I made the suggestion as they didn\u2019t feel like getting beat up by the rollers either! We soon left this place and opted for plan B instead!<\/p>\n

After a long drive, in traffic, we finally hit the water with little to no wave action. The bite was almost immediately, but unfortunately Gaetan lost his first fish on a dropshot. I wasn\u2019t seeing much action other than his fish and decided to try casting stickbaits closer to the shore. Hooked up instantly! After this, I switched them both to the same and let the games begin. With each spot we hit, they battled numbers of bass. This went on for the entire day and despite the big winds, at least there weren\u2019t giant waves. Both of them landed many, many fish throughout the day before we were done.<\/p>\n

Having a backup plan today saved it for Gaetan and Michel. I don\u2019t think either of them had ever experienced action like this before. When you go 6 casts in a row with a fish on, you know the fishing is on fire! To do it multiple times is like you\u2019ve died and gone to fish heaven! All I know is that these guys will be remembering today for quite a while. I on the other hand, can\u2019t wait to get back! Very soon too!!<\/p>\n
