Piggy Backing

Adam had reserved today for fishing, but due to the number of people, we needed a second boat. He decided to bring his and tag along as I guided 3 others for a fun filled morning of catching. His son James had wanted to fish from my boat again, instead of his father’s and his uncle and grandfather joined him as well.

We made a series of drifts, while dropshotting over vast flats and everyone caught plenty of fish. Both walleye and bass were landed but it was James that caught the biggest fish today. He not only landed the largest bass but boated the biggest walleye as well.

Today felt a little strange with the second boat piggy backing us, but it all worked out in the end. Both boats landed plenty of fish and everyone had a great time. I was also glad that I was done by 11:00 as it was starting to heat up at the end. The temps were on their way to the 90’s once again and I didn’t want to be around. Overall, it was a great 4-hour trip!!
