Cold Water Bite
juin 11, 2023
The last couple of days saw high numbers of pike and walleye landed without any reports. Today however, Dominic & his son Justin were with me for a bit of a struggle. It started out slow in 58-degree water temps with only a few fish and I had to move around plenty to find the active ones. Although it was a grind at times, we were able to pick at them pretty good. Justin was loading the livewell with keeper walleye while his father seemed to only be able to catch the larger ones. One area produced best in the afternoon and it was here that most of the damage was done. Overall, it was a great day once again and they even took fresh fish home with them for dinner tonight!
