A Great Solo Trip

Gaetan had a great time today, flying solo! What was supposed to be three turned out to be only one as the others became sick. Oh well, more fish for him instead!
Bass was the primary target and they didn’t disappoint. He managed to catch them from Each spot we hit and some good ones too. One area produced the most bites as cast after cast saw the rod bent. From deep to shallow and everywhere in between, he managed to catch fish. The time passed by quickly today and we hit one final spot at the end of the day for a few walleye. This place also produced and we ended on a high!
Today was definitely one of the more relaxing days spent on the water with only 1 person in the boat. It was a pleasure to fish with Gaetan once again and there might even be another trip in the making, before the season is done. He is still hoping to get the other two out, once they feel better and have them experience some of this incredible fishing. Hopefully it will all work out as well as it did today!!
