Not the best weather day this year, with miserable winds and rain throughout the trip. Denny and his friend experienced some great action however, catching many smallies and walleye. Boat control was a bit of a challenge with switching winds and increasing speeds, regularly! I was forever changing the angle of the boat on the drifts just to keep them on fish. A bit of a challenge right to the bitter end. Of course, the wet weather stopped as soon as we were back on land! Mother nature has a weird sense of humor I guess as she didn’t make the day easy. In the end, the fishing turned out to be pretty good. I guess she didn’t win today!!
