Quebec Fishing Reports
California DreamingJune 1, 2024
Tony and Sol were with me this morning from California, hoping to catch some freshwater fish. A last-minute booking yesterday had them hooked up in no time. Both pike & walleye were landed this morning and plenty of them too! Once I found the right areas, it was game on! Too bad they were only here for a half day as we definitely left them biting. It was a great 4 hours of fishing!!
Big EyesMay 27, 2024
Luka and his group enjoyed a great day on the water, filled with plenty of fish. Although mostly pike, there were some really good catches of walleye as well. It was tough getting keeper eyes today, as almost everything was too big!
A European VacationMay 18, 2024
Back on the water again today with Vassillis and Pauline for another banner day! They never imagined the fishing being so good and were happy to catch high numbers of quality pike & walleye. Vassillis even managed to reel in a good-sized sturgeon, but due to the season closure, it was quickly released! Their vacation trip from Europe definitely ended on a high, as this trip was their icing on the cake!!
Another Great OutingMay 17, 2024
Peter & Dave joined me today for a morning trip and it was a great one! Despite the NE winds blowing strong, we were still able to get to and fish the area I wanted, with success. Many, many pike & walleye came aboard in the short time we were on the water. Overall, it was a great trip!!
Cold Water Pike BiteMay 14, 2024
May 12th 2024
Courtney & Grady spent a great day chasing northerns today! Although the weather could have been a bit nicer, it was still much better than forecasted. The original rain ended up being only a light sprinkle, for just a brief period. Light winds from almost every direction had me adjusting areas often to monopolize on the bites. Concentrations of fish were found in deeper water, due to the 53-to-55-degree water temps and large numbers of fish were caught by both Courtney & Grady by the time we were done. The trolling bite may not have been on fire, but it was a great way of covering water and definitely got the job done!!
