A European Treat

A last-minute cancellation, opened up today for Luca. He was in from Switzerland and hoped to catch some freshwater fish. Bass was his first choice and he definitely caught a bunch! Although not all big, the majority of the ones he landed, were well above average size. High numbers of these fighters were netted throughout the day. One of the areas we fished was absolutely on fire and he pounded on them for several hours. In the mix was also a big catfish that hit the same dropshot rig. Hard to believe but it happened twice today! Although it would have been nice to get him into some walleye, it just wasn’t in the cards. He did have a couple hooked, but the came off before reaching the net. Despite this however, he had an absolutely amazing day of fishing today!!
