Once again, I fished with my wife Christiane on another day off! We headed out to Lake Champlain again in search of Largemouth Bass. Air temps were probably in the 90s with unbelievable humidity. The water temps got into the upper 70,s. There was literally no wind! What a scorcher! It took Christiane about 3 casts after I showed her a new technique, to hook into the first bass of the afternoon. At almost 4 pounds it was a nice way to get started! She continued to catch more as the afternoon went on and it seemed like she was getting the bigger ones too! At the end of the day we probably had close to 15 or more landed and several other missed strikes. Pretty good afternoon for less than 6 hours of fishing!!
